Creating a Help Request
Hey,
I am basically looking to contact steam support through email and explain something in detail. How would I go about this, I found a page https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1223-QROC-4460&l= that said you can create a help request and I do not see that option.

No you do not get extra copy, you get whatever content that include pack/bundle you do not own. If talking about gifting pack, the first copy is always for the person that buying the pack, that all there is to it, if you own the game already that be the issue you face as you already own it.

There two kinds of bundles, personalized bundle, and a fixed bundle. The difference is in a personalized bundle it's only for you, no one else, as it adjust the prices base on what you already own. The fixed bundle is exactly how it is, you get exactly what in it, if include something you already own, you don't get an extra copy of it.

If planning to gift to someone these personalized bundles, or packs that you already own, it's best to give the person funds directly, and let them buy it, and if pack let them gift it to the remaining friends you wanted to gift it to, so all have it.

If this is a checkout account issue as in you're not able to gift to no one, and told you to contact support that what you do. Steam help section > My account > Data related to my account > scroll to the bottom click on contact support.

As said, if this isn't account issue, you may not get the answer you're asking for, and only wasting their time, and yours for something community could've answer on the spot, with a added information.

Steam support does not do phone calls, emails, VOIP, or live chats, as scammers been going the whole 9 yards to try to impersonate them for years, the only method to be contact support is via ticket only, as that only place you need to request, and reply only at as you know you're talking to support, and not someone else claiming to be on to scam you.

If this is an account issue that requires support to fix the issue, you contact support.

If this is a question, or needing advice, the community is very capable of answering your question, or providing advice. You find answers more quickly if you display your questions you have. There chance support may not be able to answer if they don't understand the question.

Your first step is to actually answer the question is you want any help. This is not a joke, this is not snark, this is a requirement. Nobody can help you do something without knowing what we're trying to help you actually do.

If, you example, you were looking for help figuring out how to contact support for questions involving a refund you think should have been accepted, we could give you an answer on how to do this. If you instead needed help recovering a lost or stolen account, we could give you a very different set of instructions on how to contact support about that. There is no single catch all one answer to all questions. You need to actually tell people what you need help with if you want help.

Sorry for being short, I do appreciate you and your time to comment and I felt like you were gate keeping contact info. I just am confused by this sentence in the article I linked. "or send a help request to the Steam Support team." I searched all around the steam support tab in the help menu for some type of contact info., the category would be "Extra Copies" and its a personal issue that is not critical or have any urgency. Which is why I would prefer to speak in detail with a Steam Support Agent, Again thank you all.

Ps
A better way to ask my question is what is the official support email for steam?
