When I restart the computer, it works again, not everytime though. It seems to be hazardous.
I went to check if the drivers were good for the controller, everything looks good.
I really don't know, I'll check other things later, but in the meantime I guess I have to restart the computer to solve the problem.
Thank you for your answer anyway ! :)
I_Will_Clean_With_You -> I haven't understood what you mean.
Next, stop focusing on Steam recognizing the gamepad, it doesn't matter whether the gamepad "appears". What matters is whether games can be controlled by gamepads. When I play with my gamepad, Steam doesn't recognize it either. It doesn't "appear" anywhere in Steam. Yet, it controls games just fine.
Then, there's the question of connection. Try cable & bluetooth. From what I gathered, PS gamepads can be finnicky over BT.
They said "I'm a forum spammer. I get my rocks off annoying people on the forum by throwing up on the sidewalk, so to speak. Please report my post so the moderators can take apropriate action".
okay for the beta, it's done.
I do focus on steam recognize my gamepad because some games (such as dark souls) have to use some software so the gamepad may work fine(or else it causes camera to turn left and you don't have any control working properly...).
On almost every other game I just have to plug my controller and it's okay, windows recognize it and I'm able to play. I found out yesterday that having my controller working through steam solves the problem, it's about drivers I believe.
It's not about the cable.
Ahah ok for the spammer. I was suspicious about it. As english is not my native language I'm not always 100% sure of the meaning of what I read.
Thank you :)
