How to get store page (and edit tags) for removed game?
Is there a way to see the store page after a game is removed? There's information I want to be able to see there, like the sidebar labels for how multiplayer works or controller support, and (the thing that led me to looking for this) I can't find any way to edit user tags.

You can try an archive site. But other than that, no. You can't access something that has been removed.

The game hasn't been removed, though. We need to still be able to get to these things, even if it isn't for sale on Steam anymore.

What game?

If the store page is removed by Valve or the game devs, you can't.

Irrelevant whether the game is removed or not. A store page is a piece of advertisement. If the developer/publisher stops selling it, there isn't that much a reason to keep it up.

Some things are visible in the library. There is an info button on the right (big I), is that also gone for that game? Cause that game lists stuff like controller support, multiplayer, etc.

Wrong. Because Steam tied features to the store page (tagging, and useful information), it is library functionality we use as Steam customers, and not merely advertisement to purchase.

Yeah, I know about the info button, and it does keep its info after store page removal, but that doesn't show the same information. It'll say there's multiplayer, but not local/online, for example. It doesn't show the recommended specs (install size is also nice to see), languages, etc.

Any game with the store page removed. Eg, Grid (2008).

I'd like to see evidence of features being removed. I've not heard of that, even if they are tied to the store page.

Examples, OP?

I already said several times you seem to need the store page to edit user tags.

Steamdb only shows approved user tags. It doesn't show your tags, or let you tag/untag/vote. Unless I missed it when I was looking around before posting this question, it also doesn't have the "shared/split screen co-op" type sidebar info, or system requirements, which are useful.

Yes, but a vague assertion without evidence remains an assertion. I'm just asking for examples so I can understand it proplerly.

There is not the slightest thing vague about saying you don't seem to be able to add/edit/vote user tags on a game once it has lost its store page.

If you can change user tags without the store page, do feel free to actually help. I already mentioned Grid (2008) as an example game with no store page.

Yes, I know you did, and that was shown to actually have a store page.

That's why I was asking - because I've not seen it.

OK, so you can't tell the difference between a Steam store page and a link to steamdb.info, and wanted to attack rather than understand or help.

As you can see by clicking it (or just looking at it), that link wasn't a store page, and it isn't a Steam site at all, so it can't do anything to tags. Grid's store page would be here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/12750/

Don't push blame at me for their choosing to harass instead of listen. There was no reason to attack me and call the well-known fact (that the rest of us are talking about) that games lose their store pages a "vague assertion without evidence" and something I need to prove to them.
