Steam Capcha and Help Request Code
On my GF's account because I can't login to mine
When trying to recover my account and create a ticket, I fill out the forum and complete the capcha. Upon completion of this, I receive an email saying the following
"Hello
Before you submit your help request, confirm this is your email address by entering this code into the help form.
Here is the code you need:"
But there is no where to input this code. My account has also reached the max number of attempts to recover in a night. I hate this system and I just want to speak with a human at valve.

I finally got a ticket after a few days. I used Microsoft Edge. This is what you're supposed to get after hitting send https://i.imgur.com/9SXKlPN.png

This is a common problem and it's obviously something to do with Chrome. It's been widely reported (ie. you should have searched these forums first).

The way of getting round it is simply to use another browser - Firefox, Opera, Edge, whatever.

Be warned you may have to try more than one and Edge seems to work best from reports.

I meant how you got the ticket done. So that path is known.
