I have a 64 bit computer but steam tech support says I have 32, Civ6 wont install
The steam app isn't allowing me to click "install" for civ6 (I have tried one other game but civ6 is the only game I was interested in and first game). When I contacted the steam support, they got back to me and said that it was because I'm running a 32 bit computer while in reality I have a 64 bit (I double checked in my system information)

Thanks for your help

At the top of the Steam client, click "Help" and then "System Information."

Copy/paste that info here.

Are you actually running 64bit Operating System "OS" software?

If you install 32bit OS then the apps that made for 64bit OS will not install that be why.

There hardware that 64bit but that not relevant to the OS that need to be 64bit.

Just for the future, you have to right click in that window and then you can "select all" and then again, and "copy" then "paste". It's a bit hard to know that the first time, for some, I agree.

Even just dragging over the text does not highlight the text well, so "selecting all" is best.
