but steam/ in game settings you can move game folder data to another drive
Steam (top right) > settings > downloads > steam library folders > add library folder and make one on your D drive.
Right-click any game you want to move > properties > local files tab > move install
When you install a new game there'll be a drop down menu for where to install games.
Pretty sure you get an error message if it is not, but the new library folder must be totally empty.
So you can't add an entire hard drive, for example, unless that hard drive is totally empty.
You never want to almost fill up a hard drive, as that can possibly cause all kinds of problems. Drives need free space for disk operations, so you might need to move more than just a game or two, depending on how much free space you have left.
You also have to keep in mind automatic updates to games in the future, and sometimes, these can be quite large, depending on the game. Hope that helps.
Rightclick game in C drive>properties>Local Files Tab> move installation files.
It moves the game . Screenshots and saves remain on C drive.
Then open Steam top left corner>settings>downloads>add new library folder>select STEAM on the other drive. Its done.
