How about starting by not posting scam links on the forum.
So, if it were truly steam community, it would start something like
https://steamcommunity ..... and so on thereafter.
The fact that it starts with Profilejpex tells you all you need to know.
You always go to login pages yourself by bookmark of original or typing.
Did you notice what i did in this post? Thats how quickly tricks can pass your eyes as "looks right".
But good that you asked first.
I mean you can see just from the url that its not even a real steam community link.
Pot meet kettle
that would mean people use common sense or their Brain which doesn't get shut down when they get "free" stuff.. which lets be real is dying out with the new generations of zombies
I spot it! Nice one. I may just use this in the future. Good example.
Let;s be real that it exists, but saying it's getting worse with successive generations is a silly leap. You'd need to show considerable evidence for that.
What is more likely is that you THINK this is the case, because as you get older you tend to think that the younger generation are more stupid than you ever were. And that's a great demonstration of how your mind tricks you.
From my own experience not only do I see no evidence of such a thing, as it's resolutely similar, or at least it is here in Britain and a few of the other countries I've spent time in. In fact, many are probably better informed not least because of the internet existing.
I know of quite a few teenagers who are well informed politically and also many who we have as staff at various music festivals who are exceptionally well informed and capable.
But I digress. Glad the OP has learned their lesson here.
There are two kinds of people who know or can assume bad tricks.
Well, people who know them or people who assume others are as evil as they are themself.
For the others, it just needs general warnings.
As the pattern of scam:
Bait, story, steps.
In doubt ask.
I guess the remaining victims would have been to difficult to find for the scams to grow.
