Can I run Phasmophobia on a lower graphics card?
My PC fits all the requirements excepts the graphics card, which is an NVidia GeForce GTX 1050. Will Phasmophobia still be playable?

yes, you can run it with a 1050, but only non vr.

for vr you would need a much better card.
I wasnt planning on VR anyways, so thanks.

Ah, yikes. Well, I guess I'll see when I try the game out later today. Thanks for this.

I have worse than a 1050 and it runs fine on lowest settings

If you look at the system requirements, the specs listed are for VR. I think I remember seeing a patch notes one time saying they fixed issues for graphics cards with .5 GB of VRAM, which are extremely outdated and low spec.

I mean I have a gtx 560 ti (Your one is ~60% better) and it works for me. Most of the stuff is from the unity asset store so it's pretty low requirements. If it doesn't work and you had it on for under an hour you can refund pretty easily.

Just throwing this out there, I've been running the game through Geforce Now and its been a good experience at high settings.

I can't say for sure but well, I don't even currently have a graphics card and I can run it. I have a Kavari APU doing all my GPU work atm and I load a little slow but that's about it, maybe the occasional lag but that could also be my crappy satellite internet. Even if it doesn't work now you could refund it or just hang on to it until you inevitably upgrade your system in the future.

Mine is geforce 930m (laptop), so lowest setting and lower resolution(maybe sub 30 fps in a couple place). But i think it's still playable despite of people now going for over 60 or 120 fps and higher resolution. Have fun

There's websites for "Can I run it?" where it will check your computers benchmarks against the min and optimal settings of the game, and let you know what doesn't meet it and by how much.

They only show vr system requirement as they check system requirement which developer put for this game. But i think if the website show you can play in vr requirement (even minimum), then for non-vr is good to go

Have you gotten the voice input to work with GeForce Now? I am using it because I have a mac, and it's not working. When I run the audio test in the settings it says "we heard you!" but then in the game lobby I am unable to talk to people and the in-game audio also doesn't work.
