How to get Un-Banned?

Long story short, got a perma-ban from a games discussion page after making a post critical of the developers design choices. Yet the ban was for Hate Speech, and the devs response sounds as if they attributed someone else actions to me. As the Dev had banned multiple accounts tied to threads on their discussion page for reasons I didn't ask the users or dev about.

I used no foul language, no hateful conduct, nothing that could be classified as flaming, or anything else that would violate the Steam ToS. So how exactly can I go through the proper channels with steam to get the ban lifted.

It might seem like a small thing, a "just don't play the game" moment. Though if I ended up banned for someone else actions and the Devs aren't willing to look into it. Then it shouldn't be something i'm put at fault for.

To reiterate what i'm asking for, what are the proper channels through Steam that I can contact Steam Support to get this problem resolved.

The whole story is in the review. I am more honest then you think.
Though what i'm looking for is the channel(s) I need to take to resolve the problem, not if i'm right or wrong.

Game devs promote their own moderation staff, not much can be done about it.

Reply to the ban message. The developer issued the ban, so it is up to them if they wish to remove it.

Wow, i didn't go that far, must have really screwed the game up? Then again. it seems like a lot of Devs abuse the EA system and try to use it to fund the development of games.

Wow, i didn't go that far, must have really screwed the game up? Then again. it seems like a lot of Devs abuse the EA system and try to use it to fund the development of games.

I'd rather not partake in gossip, but there's screenshots floating around of the Day of Dragons dev encouraging people to dox a few youtubers who gave the game bad reviews.

The problem is, if some of that happens and you were not really causing it,
you still could get community bans or so.

Thats why wrong doing has to be notified.

i got banned for racism cause i supposedly said something against a chinese user, i pointed out the other user is not chinese but japanese and mods were like "well both are asian thats close enough, you are a racist"
