We normally suggest Malwarebytes to scan the PC with, though.
You said you sent the items to another account, so are you sure that worked ? In most of these scam cases, those items are lost and instead, redirected to the scammers account.
That is probably what might have happened, if you did have an API key to revoke.
Scan for Malware/virus https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/
Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
Change your Account password on a secure device, mobile phone for example.
Generate new back up codes https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey
Also check your friend actually got your skins as Scammers are know to have used a BOT to cancel your initial to another account. They then change there dummy account to look the same and send the trade to that. Users usual ignore/not see the warning they offered a trade to a non friend and confirm it.
Thus the skins are on a scammers account and are gone. If this it the case you will not get them back.
Yeah i did all the steps but I’m just not sure if my account is safe right now to not
Yeah my items and sent to my school friends account because I contacted them about my account got hijacked and need to transfer my items to their account just to keep them safe from the hacker
About why my account was hijacked it was, somebody told me about some stuff and he sent me the link and I did open the link and logged my steam account into it, now I feel really dumb about what I did but thankfully my friend were in discord with me when that happened and I quickly traded my stuff to their account, then like 5 minutes later, my steam ID changed to all numbers and my profile description were saying my account was locked due to using third party programs.
After I saw that, I immediately contacted steam support to lock my account, now that I got it back, did all the safety steps that are mentioned in the internet, just trying to ask others if is it still safe as before because I’m thinking to trade those CSGO items back to this account or no
Thanks for taking time to read my comment, I really appreciate that
I double checked, it’s on my fiends steam account and we were on discord, he told me he got my items, so my items are safe right now, the unknown is if my account is safe right now after I changed password and revoked my API key, you can read the comment that I replied to the other guy on the top to see what I did
Really appreciate your help, thanks so much, hope everything goes super well on you life man
