How to share steam game files between two computers using an external hard drive
I have recently bought a gaming laptop and was wondering if there is a way that I can put my steam games from my PC onto an external hard drive, then use the external hard drive to play the games on both my PC and laptop instead of having the game files saved twice.

I have tried moving the local files from my PC onto the hard drive but I am unable to launch then from my laptop.

I have also tried coping the common files and app manifest but once again the laptop cannot locate the game files.

You can set the location of your "games" there.
You need to figure out the rest yourself. (doing this on both computer and laptop to assign the drive's directory you use as library directory, etc.)

I am in the exact same situation. If I find something I will post here.

Found this from my good friends at Google :D
First, you must find your save file on your local pc. To do this, press windows key + R to open your "run" program and type %appdata% to bring you to your C:Users/YourName/AppData/Roaming folder which contains most temporary/edited data found for program files. From here, go to SpaceEngineers, then Saves.
