Same account on 2 computers?
So, the PC i have now is subpar for what I need for gaming. But, I have access to another computer, it's not mine but I can download my games on it.

Will having the Same account on 2 computers cause any problems? I want to get higher end games like Fallout and Skyrim and play them on a device that can run them, while still playing other games on my PC.

You may want to see if you can get your own user account on the PC to mitigate save game issues, and also remember to LOG OUT OF STEAM every single time you're done.

If it's not your PC that you have 100% control over, don't stay logged in when you're not physically in front of it.

It's actually my mom's computer, She has a better PC. But she has her own steam account, so I'd def be logging out everytime.
For the most part, it should be fine if you're logging out of her account before you log into yours. You can be logged onto your account simultaneously on both computers as well but you can only play a game on one of them at a time. There could be some issues though in rare instances. If you have the same game but the ways in which you have that game configured are different, this could cause confusion when you switch back and forth between accounts and Steam tries to reconfigure the same game back and forth. Saved games for the game you share might also get messed up if the save game location isn't handled properly by the game.

But these are rare instances. For the most part, it should be fine. I do it all the time at home. We have several PCs / laptops in our home and family members with their own Steam accounts. We're a gaming family and we've been doing that kind of thing for years now with almost no issues.

Oh that makes it easier, but still look into your own user account on her PC. A lot of saves go into my documents/userdata, and that's per account.

Yup. Easily done.

I used to run Steam on a host of different computers, all my one account.

I had my laptop at home, and a desktop, plus my PCs at work which I'd use too during the day. All of them had my account on. Obviously you need the games installed on those PCs in order to play them, but what I'd also do is have several external hard drives that I'd carry about with me, and simply lug them in wherever.

As others have said, just make sure as a rule of thumb if you ever do this with ANY other computer, make sure you never ever leave it logged in.
