Where can I give away Steam keys?
i got some keys for the games i don't plan to play on the sites with massive giveaways, and i might be getting more of these in future. i'd like to give the keys to someone else (or maybe trade them for the game keys i'm interested in), but i don't know where i can do this

i'm not eligible for steamgifts yet, but i think giving away the keys obtained at massive giveaways is not encourages/allowed there (i can't access the site to read the rules or discussions). at least on indiegala they report and close such giveaways

there must be some community giveaway groups on steam (i think i saw one or two earlier), but i can't seem to find them now. do you know any popular ones? or maybe you have other suggestions? (i'm going to give away the keys after the massive giveaways of them have ended)

your best bet would be to find willing people (almost everyone) that would like a steam key, i myself have the same issues, but i often give them away in large quanities, maybe 10, or 15 at a time, i would like to see the names of the games you are willing to give, and i may be able to tell you how you could do it, but if they are just random steam keys, and you are planning to give them away, i would say massive random steam key giveaway, or if they are popular games, i would trade the games for games you would like to have, i would like to see them, i may have some you would like.

I'd suggest offering them in the hubs of the applicable games. There are usually a couple of fish that what to get a key. Just note that key trading is not supported in Steam, so the likelihood of scams are pretty high.

thanks for the responses

finding people shouldn't be a problem, but if there're any nice places dedicated to giveaways (where sharing keys from past massive giveaways is ok), that would be better than posting in random places

i don't have much now (started looking for the keys recently), but the better stuff i have is still given away i think (DubWars, Hangover, Battlerite - Razer Serpent Mount DLC). hope to get Lethal League when they fix the site, and give it away later

A steam key is a code for a game.
These can be obtained from giveaways or purchasing the game from a third party seller. There might be more ways of getting them, but I can't think of any off the top of my head

Please post giveaways in a game's trading sub-forum or one of the many giveaway groups on Steam.

You can also try Reddit.

Rainy [Doge], yeah i've seen people posting keys on r/FreeGamesOnSteam and they're probably shared on other subreddits, but unless someone thanks you directly, you can't be sure your key didn't go to a bot

someone invited me to a steam giveaway group, and it looks like something i was looking for (people can message the keys directly to the winner and there's no problem in sharing spare keys from massive giveaways)

i'll stick to that group for now, but any other suggestions are still welcomed

on /r/pcmasterrace they usually hide CD keys within images or GIF's that only humans can read, like a captcha or little quiz to solve riddles.

Be creative
