Global achievements count bug
I did some math and my achievement count should be 58%, and i shows only 54%

In another forum i read that the percentage of a total achievements in a game will only start counting once you unlock at least 1 achievement in that game. With this information i separeted my 100% completion games (22 total) and all other games that i have at least 1 achievement (39 total), with a total of 61 games on the achievements percentage count. Doing the math i discovered that my true achievement per game value should be at 58%, not 54 as it shows on my profile.

Anyone with the same problem? Is there a way to fix this?

Some games are in a 'learning phase' where things like achievement data don't count until it meets the requirements https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/8r5k4a/steam_is_learning_about_this_game_first_time_ive/

I contacted steam support and they mentioned it too, however, if my math is correct, the game that have the achievement count bugged is tf2...

With some more math is seems that the game that is causing this problem is tf2.

why you keep spamming this Topic though?

you got your "Question" already answered, if you believe its TF2, well then show some evidence otherwise its not a Bug

I'm reposting because the answers that i got were not that helpful lol, the evidence that i have is basically math, wich is kind of a pain in the bass to try to explain. I'm saying that the problem seems to be with tf2, if you dont know the answer dont bother entering this thread, theres plenty of other topics that you could be helpful

If i knew why this is happening i wouldnt be here, and if you were like 10% more intelligent than a lobster you would understand that the problem that it is causing is causing my achievements count to go down, even tho it shouldnt

ever thought about that your Math is wrong?

Edit:

https://steamhunters.com/id/tomasteteiavieira/games?completion=inprogress&sort=unlocked&reverse=true

shows 38 Games with at least 1 Achievement. (not that it matters in Percentages i guess)

but anyway, you still haven't said why you believe its TF2. it could be Assassins Creed as well and Steam ignoring DLCs.

It's never been correct for me. I used to manually keep a running total before the profile features came about and it bugged me for several weeks that there was somethign wrong with my adding up, until I realised no it actually wasn't and it was simply Steam not getting it right.

It only tends to be one here or there, and I've never cared enough to get on top of it.

It's close enough and that's all that matters to me.

So yeah, it's been that way since day one of the feature being there.

Doing the math over and over again testing wich game could be bugged, the only game that if you neglect the achievements and the count go down to 54 is tf2, thats why

The link that you sent says that my count should be at 59 as well

Well, that kinda sucks, lol. Have steam ever said something about this issue at all?

Nah, I don't expect them to either.

It's not a big deal so it would only be WAY down on the list of things to do.

As I said, it's only a few out here and there. So as I just use the total as a bit of self-motivation, it doesn't make any real difference to me. It's about right.
