hey i recently traded from site called tradeit.gg, after the trade ive notice this website is suspicious and probably a scam site, already read the reviews and as expected people said its a scam site, now after i logged in and trade there im afried to lose my items, what can i do to Prevent this, thanks for answers

You can do these steps to make sure you are good. If you were already logged into Steam on a browser and you could see that you were it's a good login but if you were logged in and they wanted you to login again it's a fake login.

- Deauthorize all other devices.
- Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App.
- Change your password. (Email optional) on a secure device.
- Revoke the API key.

the APIKEY should be empty. if there is anything in there, REVOKE it, DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN THE APIKEY field.

id also check too see if your browsers have downloaded any files recently. Just checked traffic on the site and for some reason they have out going file.io traffic

what should i do then, delete downloads history from pc?

check both file explorer for recent down loads and your browser, deleting browser history wont do much if you have already downloaded something. if you do find something downloaded in file explorer today and just delete it unless you are 100 percent positive you know what it is

When you login to steam first (as you should)
and then go to that site. Does login with steam ask for login again?

and yeah its probably best to change your email password if you used the same password for your steam login

steam password and email password is different, also checked today downloads and nothing new, i can run windows defender check for suspicsios downloads and applications should i do that

typically if you dont have anything downloaded then you should be g. even if they did send malware it woudlnt do anything until you ran the program they sent you. its very unusual too see a trading scam site use malware but given the reviews for the site i guess they have been

when u send the link to site to a friend or smth steam mark it as suspicsios site, i saw alot of site revwis from many websites and they did confirm the site is a scam site, using ur data and information to create copy bots and hack ur friends and even you
