Re: Current library issues following maintenance - Please post location and games tested.
With regard to the ongoing issues people oare having, I'm having a hard time making people read and I keep asking for us to pool info so as to get a better picture what's going on, so I thought I'd make this thread and do it here.

So to start, I'm on the East Coast of Britain, near Boston. I have no issues at all with my games library that I can see - I'm not personally checking all 1007 though.

As people have intimated it seems to be games that are on sale, I've tried Fallout 4, Fallout New Vegas, Morrowind, and Prey and all work fine for me.

SO please ONLY post whether it affects you or not and where you are and exactly what's being affected. This might help others with tracking it down.

EDIT: I now have the issue following a restart of Steam. So if you DON'T have this issue, DO NOT CLOSE STEAM. KEEP IT OPEN FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN.

Why the heck won't steam let us contact them? I tried to report the problem but they tell me to contact the game developer. Is there a phone number for steam customer support?

Indonesia here, issue with Red Dead Redemption 2, played fine 3 hours ago. Then after closing and reopening again. It makes the error for asking me to repurchase again. WTF STEAM!

Los Angeles CA,

Fallout 4 wanted me to repurchase. I went to do a File check and the option was not available, only option was in uninstall. You read it hundreds of times before. It removed the game from my library, it also removed all files from my computer including all save files. I spent years building all my settlements, using the Creation Clubs items to customize them into thematic locations and now. Poof all gone.

So I just tried opting into the beta participation, then cleared download cache and can now access the games I was having trouble with (games don't lead to store page and the only game that vanished from my library, Fallout: NV, is back and I'm currently installing it to see if it'll allow me on) I opted out and can still access them. Hopefully this works for everyone!

Go to your settings, downloads, and change your download region. Then empty your download cache. Make sure you know your username and password before doing that. It will log you out and back in again. Then suddenly everything works.

Click Steam (in the top left) > Settings. Beta participation is in the account tab and download cache is in the Downloads tab.

This is evidence that, unlike GOG, with Steam We are not the owners of what We buy...
What happen if, someday, Steam goes down forever?

I'm having the same problem. Mine are Dead by Daylight, Sentinels of the Multiverse and Hand of Fate.

EDIT: Location, I'm in the north central USA.
