Steam cannot let me play the games I already own
I don't know why but I cannot play ES3:Morrowind, ES4:Oblivion, ES5:Skyrim, Fallout, Goat Simulator, Tank Mechanic Simulator, and Knights of Pen and Paper 2 even though I purchased all of them.

I don't have any alt accounts at all so I am genuinely confused.

As said above ,yes. it was fixed around 6 am this morning.

There should no longer be issues, but if anyone does have anything still pervading, then a restart of Steam should fix it.

I'm having a problem similar to this, I tried to move some games to my new bigger hard drive and when I did steam lost track of them. So I deleted them and went to re-install, only when I relaunched steam it said that I no longer had licenses to those games.

If I go to my laptop I can still launch and play them as normal but my desktop wont let me install or search for them and attempting to redownload them from the store page makes steam pretend to launch them as if they're installed.
The crazy thing is, I don't own other computers/laptops at all.
I’m having issues too, I cant play my games and for several weeks steam as had me in offline mode and won’t let me change it no matter what I do. My internet is working fine so I know that’s not the problem. It’s steam and it’s really annoying and stressing me out. I need my games to relax and de-stress

I've been seeing reports that this may have something to do with Steam maintenance yesterday (Tuesday).

In which case, it'll return to normal soon.

Crunchy... It's not "yesterday". For steam, Tuesday is today. Timezones. haha

Ah but I wasn't talking from Steam's viewpoint was I? I was talking from my own - context is everything.

You said "Steam maintenance yesterday (Tuesday)" - That's today. One hour ago.

Wrong, I started the sentence with the first person - I. So from my perspective it's Wednesday. If I'd said something like "Steam's maintenance today" and didn't mention me, then it would be from that perspective.

This is basic English comprehension. Here it is Wednesday. The maintenance, from my poitn of view, was yesterday. Simples, eh?

Well, they clearly did or they wouldn't have asked.

Yeah, it's all over the place now. I'm having the same issue - launcher doesn't launch, only takes me to stem page of game - and I can't even find the game files on my computer to launch from there... It's disappeared as if I uninstalled it though I have not.
Nuts!

This sounds like exactly my issue! I'm relieved to know that it's not just me, sorry you're experiencing the same troubles though.

Yes, it's what it is. WE just have to make a big stink about it I guess so they fix it.

Nope, not at all.

First off, a big stink is not required. First report they get will enable them to check it. But they're not going to do that in the middle of the night in a timely fashion.

As it turns out, whoever they have as "on call" staff did fix it fairly quickly.

Never assume that people are sitting idle or doign less until a big stink is made - that's just silly.
