how do i send message to r6 discord?

so i'm new to discord because i'm not very into social stuff but i need someone who plays r6 with a mic to help me with a voice chat problem but how do i send message?

I could be wrong but I believe you need to select what platform you play on first , it's at the top called #role-assignment.

If you're asking how to join Rainbow six seige discord here the link to their channel.

Basically if they have a rule page you need to follow first before you can interact with their community on their discord channel then ensure to read on that, and follow the steps needed.

Beside that you just click on the sub channel where you want to type at, and type into the chat box with your message, and hit enter. If you want to private message / DM just right click on them, or bring up user profile, and click send message, then type your message to them, and hit enter, that's about it.

For game help, such as mic issue you're having try posting here as each game has their own discussion page on Steam.

I would suggest ensure that mic is working on Windows, and if not working in game, check the game settings to see if it can detect your Mic, if not run game as admin to see if that can help.

Ok then go into game settings, and ensure the voice chat is enable and volume is turned up to hear people that using mic in game. If still encountering problems, then verify game files, and if you use 3rd party firewall, or had setup a firewall, or blocking certain protocols on your modem/router ensure its not blocking the things that your game needs for those certain protocols.

i tried resetting the in game sound setting, didn't work
