Wher are my games??

I have recently bought a new computer and have been linking my acconts to this computer. i have 2 accounts and was planning on using family sharing to access both accounts games. But when I logged into this account on my new computer my library was empty. I'd love to hear some suggestions

You logged into the wrong account. Things don't just vanish like that.

Check your email for some old emails from Steam, they should have the login name of your other account.

He said both his accounts have games, so this must be a third account that he created a long time ago and forgot about.

OP, point is, you are on the wrong account here that you are posting with.

I'd also change this accounts e-mail to the same e-mail as my other account to make things easier for me, could this have messed with the account?

That should not matter. You can have the same email for any number of accounts.

Can you not recover the lost account ?

i went through that process this morning. i went back onto my old computer and i have all of the games that i owned in my library for this account.

Game licenses are tied to accounts. There is no mistake there, as the games on one account will not appear in the library of another account unless that other account actually owns the same exact games.

You seem to have lost access to the other account(s).

That is further explained on the page you were linked above.

If you cannot recover the account(s), you have to provide proof of ownership of them and use support. Read the page I linked for you above, please.

If you use auto login, this is a prime example why I always suggest against it. Actually typing in the information helps you to remember it.

If you ask me, they should totally remove the ability to auto login.
