Hey guys, I have a GREAT IDEA. Lets implement limited time trading cards! so the card is valid for... Lets make it 15 days. Okay now heres the kicker... lets put a block on trading! for... FIFTEEN DAYS SOUNDS GREAT. Sounds pretty frikin poorly thought out to me. Unless you were already into the market for ages, even using the same damn computer you've been using for ages, you're apparently possibly not yourself, and someone might HaCk your account and LiQuIdAtE all $3 worth of trading cards you have...

The cards are valid for a whole month after the sale ends. They expire on August 6th.

Honestly I hate when a trading card is not valid forever, I like collecting trading cards to keep in my inventory forever, and some of the cards that I really wanna keep are always not valid forever, this is honestly so stupid!

so what I understand is that they will disappear forever and you wont be able to do anything with them? Better turn all of mine into gems.

It's because it's a promotional thing to add "value" of sorts.

It's purpose is to encourage people to spend, unsurprisingly. A good business practice.

The point being if you offer these cards PURELY from either direct purchases or by getting involved in the sale promotion, then they are by nature, limited. It would completely ruin their collecatbility (or the associated badge) if they were available all the time.

Plus there's certain people who moan about useless cards cluttering up their inventory.

Gem them or sell them before August 8th.

If you have a full set after expiration, you can craft the badge anytime but the cards will still be gone from your inventory.
