Also, that type/brand of RAM and model number?
What motherboard?
So even though your motherboard or CPU supports up to 16 GB total (like mine does) does not necessarily mean it supports RAM larger than 4 GB each times 4.
already tried putting 1 and both work alone but when i put one of them in the 3rd or 4rth slot alone pc wont turn on
It also says that
Due to Intel® chipset limitation, this motherboard can only support single-side memories when four modules are installed and they will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR3 1066 MHz.
It also says that when using 2 RAM sticks, slots 2 and 4 should be used
From what im seeing, if that RAM is double sided, it will only support RAM in the A2 and B2 slots which i mentioned above.
I think we need a better motherboard model number. This is all I get by googling.

That motherboard only has two memory slots.

which is the 1 he said he had
already said that..
he hasnt replied back so i guess it worked?
Probably. I was too lazy to read previous posts tbh lol.
well if that in the end doesnt work, it should though, then it could be an issue with the RAM, maybe not qualified for that board or something.
and you never said what speed the RAM is and the voltage it uses, so thats something to reply on when you work on it again
and make sure your PC = unplugged from any power when you install it
as yes popping in a ram stick in a motherboard and it has power on .. can fry the stick
not every motrher board supprts all mem sticks .. always go crucial ram if your unsure what your motherboard supports
never mix different timeings and voltage ram
