Steam Download speed is BS!
i have 250MBPS for DOWNLOAD but yet steam is giving me a solid 29.7... what the F*** is that honestly.... Quite using my internet to download games for someone else and give me my actual download speed please.

Well, 29,7 MB/s equals to 250 Mb/s (which you most likely have, I simply don't believe you that you have 250 MB/s) so everything checks out perfectly.

The screenshot is in Mb (Megabits).
Steam shows speeds in MB (Megabites).

It takes about 8 Mb to make 1 MB.

250 Mb = about 31 MB/s download speeds.

Your screenshot even show this to be the issue.

You are getting the correct speeds for your connection.

wait watf, lol i will stream my downlaod speed for you sir, if that is what you absolutely need to understand that download speed has come a small way, there is google fiber that can reach 1gbps idk what your problem with 250 mbps is considering its a simple 1/4 the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ speed, next time please read up on the new inventions of the decade.

Yes, 1 Gb/s, not 1GBs.

The lower and upper case "B" makes a difference.

No consumer based ISP offer 1GB/s connections.
