Issue with changing bindings on Switch Pro Controller for Rocket League

I've been trying to change up my controller bindings, but no matter what I do, my a button always jumps. This happens whether I leave it unbound, or have something else bound to it. It will always jump in addition to whatever I'm trying to have it do.

I've asked this elsewhere, and haven't found anything yet, but has anyone here had a similar problem or know how to fix it?

THere's only one way I know to workaround an issue like this (which does happen with non-Xbox controllers and third party ones).

Get yourself a utility like joy2key, and follow the instructions. It will make your controller emulate a Xbox One controller (or 360). And within that you can also change button configurations around.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give that a try.

No worries.

It is a bit of a pain in the arse. I prefer using PS4 controllers, but it can sometimes be a mess trying to set them up for certain games.
