Question about Scammer Account ( Indonesian Scammer)

This is my First Time Posting on a Forum so I'm sorry if I use bad formatting / language.
my Timezone is (UTC +7).

Yesterday, I had my first customer (I dont have his name) he wants to buy wallet code from me, he told me to use a Middle Man Service for sense of Security.

He Gives me a steam profile which have a high lv and lots of +reps as a middleman and ofc after I see his steam level is real high (lv 102) and the number of +reps which he get I believe my customer and to use the middle man service. and the customer steam url ( I check it now, I think he change the URL) he ask me to give comment "+rep" on that ID idk whether it can be tracked from there but I'm providing it just in case it can.


I give him the code on 7.30 PM ( he immediatly check the code) one of the code which I provided got an issues so he ask me another code(he provides screenshot) and I gives him the other one which I have to finish the transaction faster (I have a dozen of codes which he use hopefully it can be used to track him).


After I finish the transaction with the customer the middle man Blocked my Account and the customer itself never pick up my phone ( I don't have the middle man / cust bank number because im the seller so I dont need to do money transfer to them) the amount which he should have paid to me is IDR 3.9M.


I've ask lots of people for help and suggestion, but I think it needs steam admin attention to close the scammer account ( I can provide the chat history in Bahasa Indonesia and the Steam wallet code which he buy from me ).



P.S : he unblock me to taunt me and then block me again after doing that.. ughh the rage.

report the accounts thru their profiles
steam support will not return scammed items
you went outside the trade policy and are on your own
follow the trade rules in the future and you will be much harder to scam and less of a target

Didn't need to read any further. Middleman = scam. Report them via their profile and move on.

You make it sound like you are trying to run a business but I understand your post might just be lost in translation.

Whether you're looking to start a business or just do trades, you should educate yourself about these things before you proceed any further because it is pretty clear you don’t know what you’re doing.

From what I read above "It's become a lesson for me, so i can move on without tripping again".

The point of this post is to take the attention of steam admin by providing an chronological statement, to take care of his account.

P.S : I know I won't get my money back because its fully my own fault that I lose my money

There are no Steam admins - report suspected scammers through their profiles and Valve will investigate and take the appropriate action.

But is it fine to let them roam free without declaring their ID

They will be dealt with, not immediately but when they eventually repeat the offence and receive enough reports from other users.

There is no "rep" system on Steam. It is nonsense, and scammers can just delete the "-reps" on thier profile comments anyway, keeping the "+reps". Also, scammers can have alt accounts just spam the scam account with "+reps" to make that account look more legit.

Asking for "+reps" is a red flag, as this is often done by scammers.

If you're going to try and run a "business" selling Steam Wallet codes then you should be smart enough not to fall for the old "middleman" scam.

Also, how are you getting wallet codes for cheaper than Steam sells them?

Also, if it's a real business then you can just write it off as a loss on your taxes.

Thats his first, supposedly from a alt account. Just trying steer people away from the so-called spammer.
