Because the latest OS officially supported in the drop menu there for drivers is Windows 8.1. No drivers for Windows 10.
EDIT...Also, I see you are overclocking. One usual step when troubleshooting issues like this is to not overclock and set the configuration back to a default state. However, not having any drivers officially supporting that OS is the very first concern.
(I have this same board in another rig, not the EVO though. Running Windows 7, and I even have the same CPU in the board.)
Any thoughts?
The giving one that is the correct board that i have.
When i get a chance ill post the other error code that shows up after i try creating a game to see if anyone else might beable to provide answers.
Is anyone else running windows 10 with 7 days running fine?
If you cannot get them from each device's manufacturer, then you have to understand that Windows 10 is not supported on that board.
You cannot just install and run any OS from any computer. There must be drivers that support it.
Or i guess thats an entirely different thing altogether.
But then the game is cpu ram and gpu demanding game.
Then again, some may have BSOD errors. Then still, some may just have some things work and not others. Installing an OS on an unsupported system without drivers can present issues in many different ways.
I would suggest if you want to try further to get W10 running properly on that system, you can post in the hardware and OS forum to do so. It is not a problem with Steam. It is an operating system/driver problem.
EDIT..Hardware and OS

EDIT 2. 7DTD, from the Steam store page, runs fine on Windows 10..
RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 7 or higher
In fact, many still prefer Windows 7 and think it was and is the best OS Microsoft has ever had, with the exception of newer DirecX 12 of course.
But post in the hardware and OS forum about that also, along with trying to get W10 running properly on that system, if you wish. You 'may' be able to get the drivers from the manufacturer's themselves, instead of ASUS. Emphasis on "may".
