Steam store keeps freezing
Like the title says I move the page around or click a couple things and the store freezes. Anyone else experience this, any fixes?

I'm experiencing scroll freeze issues whenever there is a large scaled animated image on a page.
For example:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/571260/THE_KING_OF_FIGHTERS_XIV_STEAM_EDITION/
When you scroll down to where it says ABOUT THIS GAME there is an animated gif (with a jpg extension). After a few seconds, my scroll up and down ability freezes on my steam client but works on a non steam browser.
I just found it to happen even in my artwork section too.

Try this first...it can sometimes help...

Go to Steam in the top left of the client, then settings, then Web Browser. Delete Web Browser Cache. Now, wait for the page to refresh and do not click on anything. When you see the page refresh, then see if that fixed it.

That's great. Remember that proceedure, if you have issues similar to this again. It can help in several cases where your store or profile appear out of order visiually.

Same issue. This hasn't resolved it.

Same here. Steam keeps freezing every time when i use scroll on the first load of the page. I also tried to reinstall steam and to clear cache in AppData folder. Well the last one seems helpful until you restart your PC.

Yeah I find this only works for a day or two then it goes back to freezing all the time. Anyone have a permanent solution?

This was the first time in my years of using steam that I ran into this problem. It was like trying to click through molasses. Everything had a slow delayed reaction. The solution in this thread put everything back in working order. Don't know how long that will last but it worked.
