You could also ask on the *game forum to see if anyone there can confirm.
The former is impossible, quite likely, the latter may be doable depending on the configuration settings within whatever driver or front end you use to connect the controller to windows. If you don't have one, then you could try finding one.
I wouldn't hold my breath too much as Sony's controllers can be obviously pretty difficult to wrestle with settings. I use them a lot, and know what a pain it can be, because, well, they're not designed for this purpose.

Good rule of thumb - always google for mods. It's quite surprising how many games you'd never think would be moddable get mods and sometimes for the weirdest quality of life things.
