Moving a Steam Installation and Games

Move or make a backup of the Appmanifest .acf file associated with the game also.

However, all the mods for this game I downloaded via the workshop are downloaded on the old HDD in the workshop folder in the steam folder.
Which means the mods are not located in the game folder
The game was moved to my other drive, surprisingly all my downloaded workshop content moved over too.
Loading time is merely 20% of what it used to be.
Oh, and all files on your other drive are automatically removed. So no duplicate installations.
