UBISOFTS' STUPİD GOOGLE AUTHENTİCATOR

So I downloaded some ubisoft games and I need to log in to the ubisoft in order to play thoose games. But thanks to that stupid fu***g s**t google authenticator I cannot even log in to my own account. I would like to make a complain file on ubisoft. If you have any solutions or suggestions please I would be really pleased.

For one if you're having trouble with Ubisoft's login, go to Ubisoft's support and talk to them. They're going to be the ones to know how to fix it.

As for making a complaint, this is a USERS' forum - even the mods here are all users. No staff here. You'd be wasting your breath.

You can disable Two-Factor Authentication -- or 2-Step Verification -- from the Ubisoft Account Management site by following the steps below:

Login to your Ubisoft Account.

After logging in, navigate to the Security Settings tab.

In the 2-Step Verification section, click on edit and then Disable 2-Step Verification button to begin the process.

Additionally, a verification link will be sent to the email address associated with your Ubisoft Account. Clicking the link will help us verify your account so that we can provide you with a faster support experience.

Google Authenticator is a standard TOTP and functionally is idiot proof. The Authenticator can’t break and nothing can go “wrong” with it

The only time the Authenticator can do anything wrong is if the time on your phone is wrong. I would check that first. Note that being off for more than 1 minute can result in the codes being generated incorrectly and thus result in login errors

Google recently now let’s the Authenticator seed be preserved on the same device. So it will get repopulated on a same device restore

Personally I prefer Authy as it has a nicer interface and supports cloud restores to new devices
