Desktop shortcuts for steam games not working

I have Steam and all its games installed on my D:drive but I'd like to have the short cuts on my desktop which is on my C:drive. The shortcuts don't work however. I get this error.... "The code execution cannot proceed because Unityplayer.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." It does not. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you're making some sort of mistake when creating those shortcuts. Please detail what you're doing to create them, as the way I would go about it is to go to your desktop and right click. Then "new" > "create new shortcut" and browse to where the steam game is.
