Why did you uninstall the game first ? Simply verifying the game files should take care of most/all issues that a reinstall would correct.

Did you try changing to many download regions, and trying some very far away from you also ?

Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit ?

You can go to Steam in the top of the client then "system information". Copy and paste all that here or go to control panel and then system in Windows 7. Should be there about mid-ways.

But you did not answer my question above. Why did you uninstall CSGO, as you said in the OP ?

EDIT..And did you try the regions change ?

Try starting steam as administrator. I have a very special setup whereby my filesystem permissions were wrong at one point and using "run as administrator" fixed the issue until I figured out what it was having problems with.

Make sure all device drivers are fully up to date. This means going to the official website of the manufacturer of the computer or motherboard and checking for driver updates.

Also, if you use a router, bypass it and run ethernet directly to the modem for now.

See this......

Then, try more regions. Make sure Windows itself is up to date also, of course.
