First off, where you live. If you live in the US, my advice might not be applicable to you, as I'm not so au fait with US law.
But here in Britain and the EU, if you paid by say, credit card, you can INSIST it is refunded to the same method you paid with, on credit card. But if you paid initially using steam wallet, then you're out of luck.
Of course, if you're in the US, your consumer laws aren't so robust so this might not be the case, in which case you are also out of luck.
(And yes, I am aware you posted in dollars, I'm just detailing as comprehensively as I can).
Which is what I said. I just explained why.
I read everything. I want to know what he is thinking about during the entire transaction process.
The game had an annual subscription fee for a feature that got shut down a while back but subscription charges were still taken shortly before and I think in a couple of cases after the shutdown because of some screw up on cancelling the charges.
This refund is probably related to that and the issue is more that the user would like to get it out of the wallet but I don't think that will be doable.
Well, then my points still apply then, but thanks for this suggestion.
If he paid for some subscription then he's frankly lucky to get this.
