Its all about money how always... the mighty epic store who can gift a lot of games and trash around with epic exlusive releases... its not for the gamers its just a bait. And all the devs who fall of to this trick, their games are lost now.
We got no chance to change this cuz we cant do any preasure to Epic for this EAC disaster.
I little little little point I would understand if EAC could really do anything, but this software is a joke ;D
Dude, I was trying the same, and I watched this video and works.
But u cant play online in Elder Ring.

All you have is to either accept it and do one at a time, or mess with the cheat folders and risk being banned.
Frankly it's not worth it.
I wouldn't think so. I'd call it more..... lazy developers of EAC/games not creating a fix. If you have a computer that is capable and you want to run two games at once, that should be your freedom to do so. It is your computer, and it is in no way giving you any kind of advantage in a game.
An exception to this would be somehow using it to open two clients of the same game to somehow get an advantage.
It really isn't up to you to say if its worth it or not. That is your opinion...to others with very active minds/brains whatever it may be who want to play multiple things at once..they should have their freedom to do so. If EAC or the game developers or Steam are not making a fix for this, even a fix with a warning "this may not be good for your computer and we are not responsible" then..once again as it has been in many times before for years, the players themselves create a fix..which usually eventually leads to them actually doing some work to make it possible..because in the end it gets to 90% of their customer base doing said thing and they cannot afford to ban them all.
Look at PUBG, people found a way to disable things in game to give them an FPS boost over others which was considered an exploit. They threatened bans, then they realized like 90% of their players did it.. so they added a setting in game to disable it :)
If they have built a system whereby they are cking users and have security and other things in built then of course they are likely to have such things there to stop abuse.
So it's really silly to just pass it off as lazy. That's just ignorant.
As much as i want to mess with the folders. I'd rather just wait for the official fix for EAC themselves. If there will be one... The love for my apex (even tho sometimes the servers are fk'd as hell) cannot compensate by Lost Ark KEKW.
Sadly, that's one of the things with security and anti cheat things. It does make genuine users jump through hoops a little bit, but you put up with it because it's better in the long term.
I am having 3 to 4 games open at the same time since decades.
Most of them I can do afk grind stuff or farm stuff. Sometimes you queue up for matchmaking and it takes 15-30minutes to get an invite. Meanwhile I can play another game.
But with EAC getting hands on more and more games it makes it impossible to do that anymore.
I Copy and Replaced Inside the EasyAntiCheat from Dead by daylight to BDO
I copied and Replaced ONLY -
------------------------------
Localization (Folder)
EastAntiCheat_Setup.exe
EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll
easyanticheat_x64.so
EasyAntiCheat_x86.dll
-------------------------------------
And that worked perfectly.
my first attempt was copy and paste everything but that didnt work ofc.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Desert Online\EasyAntiCheat
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dead by Daylight\EasyAntiCheat
Basically both EAC Files are the same version now but they have their own
Certificates, Launcher, and Licenses Folders
If playing 2 games that are online is considered cheating, Then Playing Guild Wars 2 and ESO at the same time should have gotten me banned by ArenaNet and ZeniMax Online. There two totally separate games. Is arenanet gonna ban me for buying 2 GW2 accounts for NA and EU and running both at the same time on two different data centers with a custom GW2 Launcher that lets me run the game twice? No Because NA and EU datacenters are separate my characters on both Centers are 100% separate and cannot interact whatsoever.
While these don't use EAC my example still applies. I have ever right to run more than 2 games at once, I should not have greedy corporate suits from higher ups tell me how many game clients I can run on my PC.
So I would love to hear a story of two separate games that can interact with other that can give an advantage over someone else.
If i play MultiVersus and Paladins at the same time, Is that considered getting a advantage over other players? No it's not because 1 is a fighting game and 1 is a Team Based game they cannot offer advantages over anyone.
i thhink the point is "tempering or alternating EAC files" - not the fact he is running 2 games, but what he needs to do to get 2 games (with eac) running
and i am too scared to do anything like that lol, its sad that it doesnt work (im always online in poe to get trade messages and the likes - thank god that does not use eac)
