steam api key
I saw steam api key some where and I looked it up but I cant seem to find out what is it can anyone explain it to me. I also seem to know not to tell anyone your api key if you create one

You aren't meant to have anything in the api area.

If you aren't a developer, you do not need it. If there's something in it and you yourself didn't generate it, REMOVE it and fix your security problems.

Here are some of the docs you can skim to get an idea of what it is. But NEVER EVER EVER share this apikey, or ANY other essential things like shared_secret or SSFN files. It's best you don't even create one. Sharing these can put your account in danger!
