My profile has had a showcase deleted?

I had a favourite review showcase on my profile for Loadout, but decided to remove the game from my library as the game has become defunct. I went to change my showcase to something else but the review showcase had disappeared and in my edit profile, the showcase itself has completely vanished!

Levelling up my profile didn't seem to help

Any advice?

I recently rreturned to Steam after 5 years away, and I noticed my showcase had gone a bit weird. It was still as I left it, I thought, but it had changed to something else. On editing my profile, it still said it was as I left it, so I simply deleted it all and redid it.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just an old update that bugged things for me, but I wouldn't be surprised also if this is just some hiccup from the congestion at the moment that's displaying incorrectly for you.

Just try deleting the showcase and redoing it, which is what worked for me, and if that doesn't seem to work, try checking your profile at a time when less people in your region are gaming.

Very interesting! thanks for the advice, but I don't think I can delete is as it's not even in my edit profile section to toy with :(

Well, in that case, just delete all the showcases that might still be there, and try creating it again. It should only take a few seconds in any case (unless I'm missing something).

You're welcome.

There's a lot of strange behaviour with profiles due to the congestion. You can expect purchases not to work, friends list not to show up, or inventories, and so on. So, if you see any of those things, bear that in mind too.
