My internet is perfectly fine, but I cant game for some reason?
I just recently encountered this issue attempting to play League of Legends, Warframe, and whilst playing Assassin's Creed Syndicate. I am able to get past the loading screen for League, but when we load into the game and at the pool, I literally cannot move from the pool. Everytime I Alt + Tab to my desktop, I hear the game say that I've reconnected, but when I Alt + Tab back to the client, i can no longer move again, and I am hit with attempting to reconnect. This consistently happens across two games where I just decided that I could not do anything. Warframe, if anyone plays, i get to the log in screen, but it never actually logs in and tells me that i have a network error and prevents me from getting in game. For Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, I can get into the game and play fine, but its when I exit the game that Uplay tells me i can't synchronize game files, and the wifi symbol on my laptops tool bar is empty with a red X next to it. It should be noted that 24 hours ago this never happened. Only today have I experience this issue. Is there an easy explanation to this issue? My laptop is brand new and I've had it just over a month, if that helps and i would hate to believe that its the laptops issue. Everything else like Google Chrome is top notch and perfect, with no issues during those times in all three games, except for when my wifi is actually gone like in Syndicate. I've tried searching the threads for issues like mine, but i can't seem to find any that have legitimate resolutions. Can anyone help me out?

I would certainly call, as my new laptop has a GTX1060, so not THAT different to yours. It auto-detects and runs most things, even modern games around high settings. So you should absolutely not expect that poor performance out of the card.

Are you using up to date graphics drivers, though?

On to the problem of network issues. I guess you've tried connecting with LAN cable instead? If you did and the problems cleared up, that would certainly tell you the issue is with the card.

Next to that, I would make sure the drivers for the network card are also up to date, and double check to make sure that stuff like your antivirus suite isn't causing crap with your system.

Setting up my new laptop a few days ago was an annoyance too. Horrible performance out the box. The result was a Windows 10 bug with laptops in general relating to the hard drive, and the dreaded Norton Antivirus causing ♥♥♥♥.

One SSD and a different antivirus and it's all good.

GUYS I FOUND THE ISSUE. ITS MY CHARGER. The game ran perfectly smooth when I had my charger unplugged, and the minute I plugged it in, guess what I heard in my League game... You guessed it, disconnected. Now that I FINALLY know what the issue is, how do I fix this? I have never encountered, not even heard of this happening either. Anyone?

Try one of the power settings. Depends on your OS so I can't really tell you where to find that, but if you make sure that it's set ... well, *differently* than you had it, maybe that'll help.

It's been so long since I've really thought about it, but my own laptop can't RUN without being on power, so didn't even think about that as an option.

I mean... gaming does suck down a LOT of power. It's possible that you might just need to keep it plugged in, to play.

I'm glad that you figured it out though, what a ride.

I have heard of it, though, but it's rarer more recently than it used to be.

Might not exactly be your charger, but the power settings you have.

Right click on the power icon at the bottom right of your desktop and choose power options. Set eveything possible to maximum performance.

See what happens. As standard, new laptops tend to get set with these astonishingly low.

If you still get problems with disconnecting after maxing out all your settings, get back to us.
