There is no way to tell how close you are to the controller dying when using Steam. I am unsure about other 3rd party ways.
I plug my DS4 into a charger when not in use, so it always has a full charge.
You can't overcharge it, though. It simply stops charging when it's full.
Yeah about that. I have a 3rd party ps4 controller. It's really good It has gyroscope and everything works as it should but I dont know if its gonna stop charging when its full.
