How long is Steam will refund to debit card?

I live in Australia Victoria, I use my commonwealth bank account. Anyway, I just refunded DMC 5 standard edition for AUD$84 yesterday to buy DMC 5 Deluxe Edition instead. I was worry that it’s going to be too long so I want to know other people Steam refund experience.

Yeah I know it’s said within 14 days but when I readed other people post mostly they said that it will be a month. So I was kinda worry about it.

14 days of owning the game, but with pre order the count down on the day it comes out, so you can refund months, or upto a year basically, since it's not out.

Now if your asking how long does it take to send the money back to your bank, that depends how long it take to process the transaction. Normally take several days, can be 2 ~ 4 days depending how fast your bank process. Heads up this can take upto a month if there's any complications.

If you refund back to your Steam wallet instead which is normally the fastest option to getting access to your funds to use on Steam, it normally takes 24hrs after you got approved for the refund, and can take upto 7 days which in the same reply they tell you if it take longer than 7 days contact them, but 99% of the time, it's always after 24hrs you get the funds back in your Steam wallet to use.

Sorry for pre order you can refund anytime you want, the 14 days doesn't count until it comes out, basically you're exempt from the 14 day rule since the game isn't out, so you can refund any time as you like before it's out.

Example if it coming out in 8 months, you can refund anytime as you like within that 8 months, but soon it comes out, you have 14 days to request a refund.

Yea Steam wallet the fastest method, since the money didn't leave their system, which why it's a lot faster. So if you requested on Tuesday, maybe expect it by Friday, or Monday morning for your bank.

A refund to a non-US bank account can take up to 14 business days before it is reflected in the account. This is due to banks working at the speed of banks.

If it takes longer, you can contact support and they may be able to help see what the issue is.

A refund to Steam Wallet tends to happen with in 24 hours, but I do no think that is guaranteed.
