Community hub permanent ban removal.

Can i write appeal after at least 1 year to support to unban me? I got perm ban in a thread where someone asked about whether or not he should buy the game, on which i replied to "try torrent first". He obv couldnt play multiplayer anyway, just to see if the game is worth buying. Ban reason "promoting piracy".

Its just the fact that i was making mods and stuff for workshop, i really enjoy doing that. At first i thought "oh well, banned from discussions, ok" but there was an update at that time? There are no longer discussion bans, they are now HUB bans. I lost my ♥♥♥♥ at that point, not only i cant make mods, publish screenshots, i cant even edit titles of old screenshots i have (like on my profile its just "Left 4 Dead 2" title for featured screen, i wanted to change it to something funny idk, screens speak for themselves.

It's been 7 months, im playing the game since 2012 (not on this acc), im not giving up on it but to make a new account to make mods again? I asked them to keep discussion ban but let me do my things, they replied that "its the new system".

Can i contact them again in like few months? Or 2 years? Like, thats my favourite game of all time lmao no matter how old i am, i will always play it. So i can wait, but i want to be sure i can share my stuff with other people.

you can contact them as much as you want. they dont need to reply nor lift your ban. steam has a zero tolerance policy toward pirating games. that means you do not joke about it. most likely, its permanent. if you want to play and make mods again, start over

Game hubs are moderated by the devs or people appointed by them. You'll need to contact the dev directly or respond at the text message at the bottom of the ban notification to see if you can appeal however, promoting piracy always usually results in a permanent ban with all devs in their hubs.

You cant seem to understand one thing... IM NOT TALKING WHY I GOT BAN, I KNOW THE RULES. READ THE TOPIC AGAIN IF YOU NEED.Im talking about sudden shift from discussion bans to hub bans and whether or not i can appeal after a while. I know that id be banned but not perm, nor hub . Jeez americans, low iq is not a myth apparently.

At the bottom of every ban message, it states:

"If you believe this ban was issued by mistake, please contact Steam Support."

Clicking on "Steam Support" should link you to where you can submit the ticket with the request.
