Email Verification
So I've read a lot of forums for my issue, but none seem to quite help. I get this green bar across my steam saying Is this still your current Email? Yes or No, Update. It is the current email so i click Yes, and it sends on-screen instructions to go to my email to Verify. I click ok and finish. Then i go to my email and I have a email from Steam saying In order to help maintain the security of your Steam account, please verify your email address.
Click here to verify your email address. <--- that is supposed to be a link. But when I click on it, nothing happens. I looked up online and someone said if your email is verified, it will say Verified in your settings. I went to settings and i clicked on "Account" and "View Account Details". There it tells me my Status is "Verified". But it still gives me this green bar asking me if this is my email and that it needs verification. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I am having almost this exact issue. I have a green bar asking me if my email address is current, I click yes, but I never receive any verification email (I get store purchase / community market stuff fine). In my settings, it says i'm already 'verified', yet i'm stuck with this green bar re-appearing every day. Steam is in my trusted senders list, and nothing has appeared in my spam folder. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I would advise to write a ticket to Steam Support :
(left top corner) Help -> (drop-down menu) Support.

If you can't find your issue or if you can't write a ticket from there (get into infinite cicles), use
(left top corner) Help -> (drop-down menu) Steam Support-> My Account -> Steam Guard -> Contact Steam Support.
Explain why you need to write a ticket from an off-topic page.

What email provider do you use ?

Even though you are saying you get other emails from Steam, some providers like AOL, Hotmail, and others are known to not get emails well or at all from Steam.

I cannot say they are related or can help you here, but I simply entered that in a forum search and have many results, some of which speak of issues with Steam and that provider. Feel free to look through them if you want.

So, uh, how long am I supposed to wait for steam support to do something?

Do something about what, please ? Your email provider blocking some of the emails from Steam ?

If that is what is happening, of course. Did you look at the link and search results I posted to see if any of that was related or helpful ?

If your email provider or settings is/are the problem, Steam support cannot do anything about that.
It was a general question about their response/action time. I was asked to verify ownership of my account (6 days ago).

Well, well...it is very ironic...

This user reports having issues for months with connectivity, and just now seems to state he or she fixed the problem.

And guess what ? It was Vodafone that was the culprit, according to him or her. That is why I kept suggesting you check the linked search results and consider your email provider as a possibility. The ISP actually, but still......

I cannot say it is the cause, but it sure is interestingly related to connectivity, or the lack of connectivity actually........
See this....

Hello, following another thread in an italian forum, i just found out that a service activated by my net provider (Vodafone), called Vodafone Rete sicura (Safe network) blocked Steam, ports and other functions after its newest updates, i just turned off it (they activate it without warning you, and make you even pay for it) and immediatly the downloads started working again, it's a programming error for sure, or somethin like that. Thanks for your help and your patience that i'll never have, i'll have this problem back, i'll warn you.

I think you're barking up the wrong tree in my case. For clarification, I RECEIVED AN EMAIL from steam support about the ticket I submitted, logged into steam via web browser using a link supplied in the email with reference to my problem. I was told by someone named Anna that they would be happy to resolve my problem if I provided proof of account ownership, to which I replied to the ticket ON STEAM with the proof they asked of me, only to hear nothing back still to this day. I get all other steam emails fine. I have no connectivity issues like the Russian guy.

This is from what you originally posted. Which "can" possibly suggest an email/ISP/connectivity issue. So you see, I thought it was interesting that it was also that you both have Vodafone. What seems to be going on now for you is that you simply need to wait on support to reply, so if I misunderstood your current issue, please excuse me.

And from your reply above about support "doing something", one could assume that you meant do something about your issue of not getting some of their messages, as you originally said. (no getting the verification emails)

EDIT.....

The usual suggestion in these forums, is to use Gmail and that works each and every time.
