Not finding it does not necessarily mean it is not there. Use Malwarebytes in safe mode to scan for infections, as that is what we usually suggest here.
Make sure that in all the settings of the antivirus that it is totally ignoring Steam and games in real-time scanning.
If games are actually lagging out and/or crashing, that could be a software conflict with Steam or the games or both, possibly causing that.
See this :

If your computer is freezing up, that could be a few things, but the first thing I would check after looking at any possible software conflicts is maybe the hard drive and scanning it for errors.

As far as other drivers for your computer, normally you let Windows do that for Windows 10, which I personally do not trust, but you can also check the manufacturer's website for your computer to make sure they are up to date.
You would have to tell us if the computer is custom built or you bought it prebuilt.
However, I highly doubt that GPU drivers are the issue that is causing your problems.

So thats my system info, and yes my computer is pre built, I did not build this on my own. Im not exactly a files/parts computer expert, im just looking for some simple solutions to my steam problem thats been on going for a few months now.
Go to Help in the top of Steam. Then system information. Right click, select all, then copy and paste all that here, please.
Is this the computer that you have ?
https://www.msi.com/Desktop/support/Aegis#down-driver&Win10%2064
If it is not, then please find it and link it here using the manufacturer's website search tools. Exact computer that you have, please.
I suggested something that you could try above, and linked info on how to do it, but you didn't seem to have replied to that afterwards as to if you did it or not :
Check the hard drive for errors, just in case.
Also, at this point I would do an OS scan. sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt.

Also, Bitdefender could be causing issues, even if you never had issues with it before. Don't assume it is not. Make sure. Check all Bitdefender settings and make sure BitDefender is totally ignoring all of Steam and all games in real-time scanning.
And you still might have other software causing the crashes :
Run msconfig from Windows Start (apps) and check all background processes under services and startup and see that they are not causing issues.

Did you make sure that BitDefender has exceptions in real time for all of Steam and all your games ?
I will ask for some screenshots to try to help you eliminate any software conflicts that might be causing issues. Please read the entire following text VERY carefully before you do anything, please :
1. Take screenshots of all of the programs you have installed on your computer. Control panel then programs/programs and features. (Windows 7,8,8.1) or "apps" (Windows 10 click "Start" (Windows icon on bottom left))
2. Click Windows Start and type in msconfig and run that resulting process. Go to the services tab and check the box on bottom "Hide all Microsoft services". Take screenshots of all that is left.
3. Then go to the startup tab on top of that same window (Task Manager in W10). Expand the header on the left so we can best see the process name (small window, so do the best you can). Take screenshots of all that there also. Don't forget to scroll down if needed and get everything in the shots, please.
Post all the links to the above screenshots here, using a file hosting site such as imgur.com, which is free to use.
There is only one client and everyone gets the same download installer and updates, so how is it Steam if everyone has the same client ?
If what you said is true, then there is no point to this forum, where helping users with connection an other issues, when we can that is, is a pretty much every day thing.
