Steam wallet still pending :/

A couple of days ago i requested a refund for rust, (i'd just bought it but it didn't work because i apparently have a 32 bit PC) and i got the refund and it said it might take a few days before i can use the money, I asked for the refund to be in my steam wallet. then why has it been 2/3 days and it still say pending? if you would refund it to your bank account i understand it might take several days, but this is just steam so why wouldn't it just refund immediately?

Go to account details, for more info on your pending transaction. If it takes over 7 days, you need to contact them, and they look into it.

it's weird though, why wouldn't you just instantly be able to use the money if it's only being sent over steam severs.

I believe it was to slow down people trying to try out games as demos, and the fact that there's people that trying to test to see if they get blacklisted for abusing the refund system. Normally depending where you're from it's after 24hrs when approved, they normally say contact them if didn't get it after 7 days.

Its bloody disgusting how long Steam take to refund into your wallet. Its not like they are refundingg to a credit/debit card.

It is to ensure they are getting the money from the original purchase.

By credit card, or bank transfer it can take upto a month, and this happens across many services, that include Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Google, etc...
