Ark missing executable

When i launch ark I get a popup message saying missing forum c:\programfiles(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\ark\shootergame\binaries\win64\shootergame.exe I have validated game files but it says nothings wrong

Sounds like it could be the wrong launcher.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ark Survival\then the .exe. Rightclick the .exe create a shortcut from that and place onto desktop
I dont own this game but that is the default path.

Make sure that any security programs like antivirus are leaving Steam and all games alone in real-time scanning.

If an .exe is being quarantined as a false positive, that can maybe be the source of the missing .exe error, and verifying the game files will not fix that until such exceptions are made.

Also, ARK requires a 64 bit OS :

Trying to play on a 32 bit OS can cause missing executable errors.
