Even if this is possible, that computer you posted about, if my search was correct does not officially support XP, and giving advice to someone to install an OS on a computer that does not officially support that OS is just bad advice.
That would have been a good idea ten years ago, not trying to offend you...
I had the urge to know which computer I had and the source is a laboratory in Houston, Texas that only supports PC133 SDRAM, Petium 4 Processors and owns several PCI Slots a AGP Graphics slot DVD reader and disquett reader
So in other words, why go through all the hassle of this, as you already previously said it does not work for you, instead of just upgrading and being done with it ?
Same thing is going to happen one day for Windows 7, too. Not sure how long but official support for W7 ends in 2020, so after that, who knows when Valve will do the same thing for W7.
I have a HITACHI 320 GB drive with a Windows 10 copy downloaded from Windows Update and a Dell Vostro 200 '05 that does not work because of a sector that is damaged and most likely to be damaged due to cat urine
https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/vostro-200/drivers
It only supports XP and Vista, according to the drivers download options for OS.
I have not tried to run the computer with the solid drive, when it arrived it had a copy of Windows 7 and had no problem with usage until I left it on a desk and cats and rain messed it up
Here is Dell's list of supported computers that have been tested with a Windows 10 OS :
https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln297954/dell-computers-tested-for-windows-10-may-2019-update-and-previous-versions-of-windows-10?lang=en
If your computer is an Dell, and it is not on that list, Windows 10 might work on it for a while, but all it takes is one Windows update perhaps and then you get BSOD errors, or maybe even before that.
Drivers. Drivers that support the OS on all the hardware in that computer are the key.
I did not build the computer, it was bought with a e vga geforce 8600 gt, petium dual core 1.60Ghz processor and ran on DDR2 technology with 1GB
Because the person that did build it, also might not have understood about supported drivers for the operating system being installed.
Check the manufacturer's website for drivers that support the OS, before installing any OS on any computer. There is a reason you see this at the top of the page I linked :
"Dell computers tested for Windows 10 May 2019 Update and previous versions of Windows 10"
Because they are saying that the Windows 10 version as of that date is the version of the OS that was tested to work fine. But any updates to Windows 10 after that date, have not been currently tested.
In other words, if it works now even on the ones listed, that does not mean it always will work.
I am sorry to tell you this...
Even if I get a computer to be a logic state computer I will not have the time, I am not the one who paid for the "technology" and if they had no clue of programming or just had no time for it, I am 3 days to make a deal to buy another computer to keep my self out of stress, thing that will not work but thank you for your tips I will try my best to get the most affordable computer and make the deal as that man said.
The official manufacturer's source for drivers. Post the link to where those can be downloaded. Again, "working" does not equal "officially supports".
EDIT.. If not the manufacturer, then each individual maker of each piece of hardware, and their official download for the drivers for the OS in question. That is another way, but chances usually are that if the PC manufacturer's website does not have them, the maker of the hardware does not have them either. And usually, this is because they don't officially exist.
So, really, all you had to do was look at it yourself and clue yourself in.
Google is not an "offical" source for drivers for HP, or Dell, or any manufacturer.
Post the link, please.
It's a search engine. That's what it is used for. The search button. Use it!
Otherwise, stop trolling.
