Steam pop ups are going to be the end of me.
so mates there is this group called seriousmartin I quit from the group for how annoying the group chat is but for some reason The group chat still pop ups with messages from it and there are millions upon millions spamming in the group and I can't stop it...Help?

Are you still following the group? Did you leave the group chat?

Friends and Chats > Right-click the group chat > Leave Chat.

Leaving the group itself doesn't affect your group chat presence.

Go to the Friends Chat settings and in Notifications turn off "When I receive a chat room notification", if you haven't already. Does this help?

That does not solve the issue with being in the chat itself.
