Steam support no response
So i have an issue regarding steam account, they replied on my first ticket request, after which I added another message as they did not fully solve my issue, it’s been 2 days since they last responded, the issue is particularly complex. Is steam support deliberately ignoring complex issues? Cuz previously a few months ago I had another complex issue and I had to create multiple tickets for them to finally respond after a few days.

yes man i will continue to wait, i did look over the fact that it was the weekend.
It's all good. I know it can be frustrating sometimes, but they will take care of you, and hopefully soon.

Feel free to reply to the thread and update us on what happens, if you wish. That would give the issue some closure. Good luck to you.

Maybe they need time to research your issue given that it is "complex".

Steam support takes time regardless of the complexity of the issue. If you provide them with *all* the information they need - troubleshooting is hard and can't be done telepathically after all, they don't know what your issue is until you fully explain it - you won't need multiple tickets.

Be patient.

As said, it takes time. It's also the weekend now, so be sure that less people are actually working.

The world isn't instant, have patience and just wait.

This is the problem - it's people like you that are slowing the system down by creating multiple tickets. If you're looking for people to blame, how about the people in front of you in the queue who themselves have created multiple tickets. One ticket is enough - any more doesn't speed up the process or magically make your initial ticket jump the queue.

waited a few days my guy, sorry but unlike u i dont like to wait for a few days for my issue to be resolved, if creating multiple tickets worked the last time, i dont see any reason why i shouldnt do it again.
Crazy Tiger Feb 23, 2020 @ 1:43am
Because you only perceived that it worked. It didn't change anything, last time they helped you once they got to you in the queue, same goes for now.

As was said, just because an action results after doing certain steps, that does not mean that those steps were the direct cause of the action.

They just happened to get to you after you spammed the system. It was just a coincidence.

Tough, you wait like everyone else and if you think about it logically, how the hell can creating multiple tickets speed up the process when further created tickets go behind your initial one? You're therefor slowing it down for everyone else which is karma for why you are deservedly waiting now.

which is why im asking if they are deliberately ignoring complex issues which i would otherwise need to create extra tickets to get their attention. you are not answering my question.

Even if that is what they are doing, which it is not, how would we even know that ?

https://store.steampowered.com/stats/support

Results are in just the last 24 hours. They have a lot to do.

well yes, which is exactly why i asked if it was the case, because i dont know if they are deliberately delaying or not, i am merely quoting my personal experience, it could perfectly be a coincidence because i dont know.

Your question has already been answered. It's the weekend and if your situation is complex then it may take longer. They do not ignore anyone and if they can't help someone then they will state that in the ticket before closing it.

Try and think about things logically instead of making poor assumptions.

You can feel free to do a forum search for terms like "how long Steam Support" and you can see many threads on the same topic, where you can feel free to draw your own conclusions, if you wish. We don't know what is going on as we of course don't work at Support.

All we can do is suggest that you please wait.

If it gets to the point of a week or more, maybe that is cause for concern, but honestly, a couple of days is not a big deal.
