Battleye Global Ban - Repurchase
I was being stupid and tried to hack on DayZ. I paid for my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decision and got Global Banned. I repurchased the game on a different new account, no I did not hack on it, but still got Battleye banned 2 or so hours later. Was it because it was on the same phone number? Email was different, only phone number was the same. How do I make it so when I try to rebuy the game once more on a new account not to risk getting banned? I tried deleting whatever I thought might be suspected on my PC before the ban but I guess it didn’t work, what do I do?

Seems like you need to contact Battleye to find the cause of the ban.

Once you install cheats on a computer, simply deleting them often may not be enough. You might have to do a full reformat. But I can't say that is totally necessary because I don't know what your ban was for or if the cheats are still being detected by their anticheat.

Tried to contact them. Never received an answer. In fact, I even contacted them upon my initial ban because I still am not sure if it was because of the hacks considering they never even worked; they never respond to me.

Could be a hardware ban.

You sure? I’ve seen other people who had Battleye bans get a new account but I don’t see why I would get a hardware ban

BattlEye does run as a kernel service, right? Or components of it do, at least?

You do hear stories of people on fresh accounts getting rebanned real quick with BattlEye... it knows who you are alright.

The good politediligence may be right, as I forgot about the possibility of Battleye using hardware ID bans for their anticheating methods. That would make sense if you are using the same hardware (computer) so you should contact them and see if you can find out.

I don't know for sure they do use HWID bans but they might.

EDIT.....

Ninja'd by Brujeria who also may be right.

So is there any way to fix this? I heard reformatting is possible?

Reformatting your OS is the safest bet to make 100% sure you've gotten rid of all the offending software.

BE no longer does hwid bans. They ban solely based on steamIDs

So what am I supposed to do to make sure it doesn’t happen again? And does a phone number count when making a new account

Vac bans carry over to a new account if the same phone number is used on the new account. So maybe they are doing the same.
Not unless they are linked at the time of the cheating infraction.

There are no restrictions placed on phone numbers that were on an account when the account was VAC banned; phone numbers can immediately be used on new accounts.

Sorry, was not meaning to seem rude, but just making sure everyone knows about how the phone number bans work. But you make a decent point actually, as we don't know if they work differently for Battleye.

EDIT...That is, if they even use a phone number banning system at all, of course.

That was what i was meaning maybe with them that phone number is black listed and any account that has that phone number might get banned in battleye.
