Cursor location incorrect in Store with DPI scaling enabled
When attempting to mouse over items in the Steam Store, my mouse cursor is being registered in the wrong location. It seems to be offset to the upper left of where the cursor actually is. For example, putting my cursor to the right of the "Featured & Recommended" title at the top, it will be highlighting the "Your Store" menu.

I'm currently on Windows 10 and using 150% DPI scaling. Turning off scaling or using one of my other monitors works around the issue.

I had this a couple weeks ago but opted out of the Beta program. It seems the update that was causing that in the Beta has been released now.

Is anyone else seeing this?

That is not the issue I'm having. I see no difference in zoom, and I've not set up any of those settings that are mentioned by that staff member.
Multiple monitor issue is back. Post a bug report in that forum.

Would that be the correct area though? This is occurring in live, not only the beta.
All bugs go there and beta users get updated with the patch before sending them out to the stable branch.

Problem solved !! Thank you so much buddy
I'm experiencing the same issue. Mouse overs are offset by about half the screen. I use between 150% and 200% DPI scaling in Windows 10. In both the Live and Beta clients.

This workaround solves it for me. Obviously its a bug that needs to be fixed but good enough for now, thank you!
HI I have been having the same issue for a while. I play on a 32 inch HDTV and use 150% DPI scaling so it's easier to read text. Turning it to 100% solves the problem with the cursor highlighting the wrong stuff, but now it's harder to read things.

It wasn't like this a while back. An update must have broken something.
I read that some people were able to work around it by finding the Steam.exe file and changing the DPI scaling on that file under "properties" and "compatibility settings".

This did not work for me. I made the changes as administrator but the next time I start Steam the properties settings get changed back.
@ Kamiyama

What is your GPU that you are using ? I am pretty sure that there are scaling settings in the control panel for your GPU device maybe, that will address this issue and force the change each time you log in.

EDIT...Seems you are reviving older threads on this issue, elsewhere also :

Radeon R7 265

I turned GPU scaling on in the radeon control panel and nothing changed.
It would be easier to post in the bug thread I linked above.

I do have HDMI scaling at 5% because I'm hooked up to a HDTV not a computer monitor. Without the HDMI scaling the edges of the screen are cut off and I can't see the whole screen.

Maybe Steam's UI doesn't account for that?
