Just to clarify for everyone; Make sure you do this on the browser version of Steam and NOT the actual Steam client, it won't work otherwise.
1. Go into your steam profile
2. Scroll down to the right side of your screen where it says "Videos"
3. Click on the option that says "Add videos from Youtube"
4. Sign into your Youtube account through it
5. Your google account should then be linked to your steam account through youtube
Hope this helps
You are a god
okay if it doesnt work just lunch a game and then the browser, then log in ur steam account in that browser and do this. xd
i dont shill but i like items you know.. iu wanted to see what google thought ha ha ha
I wanted to upload a video for the communitymissions and could not login as well, so I found this discussion here.
Came to a very quick workaround, which works perfectly for me:
- Copy the URL of the page where Steam wants you to login to Google
- Paste it in Microsoft Edge
- Login with your Google Account
Afterwards I needed to login to my Steam in Edge again, but could then just select my Google Account when I clicked on "Link my YouTube". Now I was able to select my YouTube Videos in Steam and upload them.
I hope this works for you as well.
By the way, now that Google rejected my login via Steam, I can not login to my YouTube anylonger via Opera, tho I used it for years and Google also claims that Opera is a trusted browser. I restartet it, dis- and enabled Java-Scripts, but with no success. As this should not be the case, I contacted the Google Support, and I suggest you all to do the same, as they'll put more efford in cases, that have been reported more often.
Cheers.
