DOOM low fps /i7 6700k GTX 1080

Hello guys!
So like year ago DOOM (on main Account) was running well on my PC 125-150 fps and today when I launched it I just couldn't play the game it was lagging as hell. My fps are 43-100 but it feels like 20fps
Any tip?

PC setup:
I7 6700k 4.6 OC
GTX 1080
32gb ram
Updated Nvidia drivers
Updated windows updates

There is a video but maybe it seems smooth but it isn't. It feels like 25fps game with some kind of input lag or connection lag . Didn't help mate and the worst part is dat it's still the same fps and lags when I play on low setting

Thats definitely not normal. Playing on a Ryzen 2600x with a GTX 1080 and have like 90-100 FPS on the average on ULTRA settings in 1440p.

You should be getting much better FPS with that system.
Make sure your game is really using the GTX 1080 and not the integrated Intel HD graphic chip on your i7.
Because that would explain these FPS.

Because that would explain these FPS.

That would only be a possibility on a laptop.
On desktop only that gpu is used to which the monitor is connected to.

sounds like something running that shouldnt be
virus trojan maybe.. happened me before .. and found spamware causing stuff to lag

U know nothing about hardware and this game when u are writing this and u probably didn't even read my first post I had 125-150fps permanently few months ago... But now it's lagging and I 60fpa feels like 20fps. But today I found this video https://youtu.be/mkckSnOBXnw and this is exactly what is happening in my PC ... My windows is prioritizing as a low task

It feels like 20fps, but isn't what is the problem then?

You have something running in the background which is causing that. Your PC might be infected with malware or you have some crap software running.

Check the CPU and GPU temperature to make sure they are not throttling. After that it's easiest to just reinstall Windows to make sure it is not a software issue.

125fps and higher sounds about right for your setup.

just reinstalled the windows its doing the same ♥♥♥♥... it didnt help me at all... :(
still running like crap...
any more idea? i read somthing about windows creators update ...
